Franco Diaz
Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Franco grew up scrappy and disciplined, bouncing between Karate, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo before finding Jiu-Jitsu at 16. That’s when things got serious. And he’s never looked back.
Now 25, he’s a fresh black belt under Murilo Santana at Unity Jiu-Jitsu in New York, one of the most respected rooms in the world. But Franco’s not just another competitor. He’s a technician with grit. A thinker who fights. And someone who knows what it’s like to grind without shortcuts.
This camp is different for him. It’s not just another stop it’s a return home.

Roberto “Natural Rebel” Jimenez
Born in Miami and raised by Ecuadorian parents, Roberto started Jiu-Jitsu at four years old under his father, Raul “Gacho” Jimenez. By 19, he was promoted to black belt a rare move, but anyone who’s watched him roll knows why.
He’s not here to play safe. He’s here to test limits, take risks, and chase growth over comfort.
From ADCC South America Trials and Polaris to IBJJF No-Gi Worlds Absolute and WNO, Roberto brings more than skill, he brings conviction. He lives clean. Trains with intention. And still asks himself before every session: “What can I give back to the art?”
Now, for the first time, he’s bringing that energy to Máncora. This isn’t just a chance to learn elite-level technique it’s a chance to train alongside someone who lives the values we believe in. Discipline. Humility. Raw adventure.
